The points raised by the people are strong ….. in economic terms if there is economic inequality, then in this contemporary world more likely there will be no investment as Akshar said, and if the people have same income then growth rate will come down substantially as we can see in case of many developed countries ( though they have economic inequality but most of people have reached to some standard level of satisfaction), above it is very rightly said by Arpan that, no one will work for some other person in case of economic equality ….. so economic inequality should be there but, the gap should not be very high …… comparison should be justifiable. Comparison between a billionaire and a beggar is senseless, as later lack even the basic necessities of life and a billionaire has extra money which can be used to give poor a settled life. The physiological needs of every person must be satisfied because everyone deserves it.

Dear Santa,
I would first like to say how much I admire you for holding your own  and not giving in to the 4,00,000 diets that are flooding the market and  for not trying liposuction or indulging in the current trend, bariatric  surgery. You are truly a mascot for 'Big is Beautiful '.
I would also like to thank you for demonstrating to the world that  overweight people can be healthy as is evident from your sliding down  chimneys and lugging heavy bags filled with toys.
So Chubby-Cheeks, now that I have flattered you a bit, could you please  glance at my list and try to fulfill most if not all my wishes?
What I would like for Christmas:
1. I want a remote control that does not alter the volume of my TV but  only the volume of the anchor especially at lines like 'The nation wants  to know'. These days, the only thing the nation wants to know is what  they have to do in order to stop going deaf.
2. I want to watch movies where the actress's lips don't keep changing  sizes in the middle of scenes. It is rather distracting and takes away  from the plot of the movie and my brain sort of freezes at that point.
3. I want a cure for a dear friend who I have nicknamed the  Neo-Buddhist: The waiter will drop a glass of red wine on her dress and  she won't lift an eyebrow. I make a funny dig about another society  doyen and she won't crack a smile. I used to marvel at her Zen-like  composure, but when I looked closely I realised that she has, in fact,  not embraced Buddhism but has definitely embraced Botox. She isn't  moving these muscles because she truly cannot. I was wondering if you  could unfreeze her or something...
4. I want Jayalalithaa's cape. I would have asked you for Superman's,  but I like the whole using our national resources bit and Jaya aunty  also seems to take that very strongly to her heart.
5. I want the brooms used in the Swachh Bharat photo-ops. They are in  such good condition; never been used before nor used after the last  photographer slinks away.
6. Can I get taller heroes to watch on the silver screen? I know it's  make-believe and all, but a five-foot man jumping 12 feet in the air and  kicking a six-foot villain is just slightly less believable than a  six-foot man just lifting his foot three feet from the ground to kick a  five-foot villain. Get the math?
7. That's what I want for the nation and for poor ol' me? I want to be 5  kgs lighter, 3 inches taller, 4.5 years younger and if you can throw in  a few more candle orders for my company, it would be great.
Hmm..Can I also request you to change your logo from 'the Christmas tree ' to my brand 'The Faraway Tree'? You know the saying, 'a rose by  any other name...'. I am sure that works for trees as well.
Oh yes! I almost forgot. World peace would also be quite nice. I  know it's terribly difficult and even God hasn't been able to pull that  one off, but I have faith in you Chubby-Cheeks, since you are the only  mystical, magical being that has no agenda except to bring cheer to the  world. You don't tell people to eat cows or pigs or not. You don't tell  people to convert or be converted and you don't tell people that killing  in the name of faith is not totally unacceptable.
So, I have put out some milk and cookies and now I am going to bed. Do  come and sprinkle your magic of peace and happiness. God knows, we need  some desperately...

Every  human being is blessed with a body, mind and soul. We know the body, we  know we have a mind, because we are able to put it to use and see it in  action, and we can feel the existence of a spirit or soul, something  that animates and gives life to the body-mind complex, enters it at some  point after conception and exists it, at death


The mind which is deeply connected to our brain but is not the brain  alone, is a nebulous entity, known more by its actions than by its  physical presence. Science has not been able to demonstrate the anatomy  of the mind. With the mind, on the positive side, we think, we  introspect, calculate, rationalize, memorize, we study and learn, we  plan and execute, we discuss and argue, we form ideas and become  creative. Unfortunately, the mind is also the culprit for a lot of  negative thinking that happens in our lives.


The mind needs to be sharpened and developed, as any other tool, for it  to be highly effective. The mind, however, seems to have a mind of its  own, and starts spinning stories, going to the past, jumping to the  future, and is responsible for a host of emotions that we feel through  out the day---happiness, joy, peace, harmony, satisfaction, and  gratitude on the positive side, and fear, anger, jealousy, worry,  anxiety, grief, guilt, shame, regret, remorse, resentments, depression  and sorrow, on the negative side.


                       
The  negative in life, however, seems to be more powerful and a sort of  default setting, for us. Destruction is much faster than creation. It  takes years to build an edifice, and only days to tear it down. It takes  a long time to build our reputation and social standing, but one  negative act, and all the reputation is gone. It takes nine months for a  baby to be born, and many years for the baby to become an adult, and  yet, this life can be snuffed out in minutes, if that is the fate of  that person. A simple think like a haircut takes only a few minutes, but  it takes months to grow back that much hair. These examples are only  given to emphasize that the game of life is heavily loaded in favor of  negativity or destruction, and to be positive, to be creative, to  sustain, survive and grow on this planet, is no mean task.
                   
                                          
                       
The mind,  with its thoughts, is powerful beyond measure and beyond imagination.  Everything that we see around us was initially only a thought in  someone's mind. Whether it is the Taj Mahal, the Statue of Liberty, the  Eiffel Tower, a beautiful garden, the most modern rocket, the wonders of  telecommunication, or even a human being---all these began with the  mind and with a thought in someone's mind. Given that thought is so  powerful, should we not learn how to control the mind and direct its  thoughts for our good and for our benefit?
                   
                                          
                       
Remember,  to control the mind, you need to use the mind. The mind has many  peculiarities. One, at a given time, it is capable only of one thought.  This thought needs to be replaced with another, sequentially. It cannot  think ten thoughts at once. Two, the mind is supposed to throw up around  sixty thousand thoughts daily, most of which are repeated from  yesterday, last week, last month or last year. Three, thoughts are  linked to emotions. A happy optimistic thought makes us feel good, while  a sad thought makes us feel miserable. Four--thoughts have a profound  effect on the chemicals, hormones and neuro-transmitters of our body and  the mind literally directs the body towards health or disease, with its  positivity or negativity, respectively. Five--the mind itself is made  up of a ten percent conscious mind, with which we think and plan, and a  ninety percent subconscious mind, which is a highly reliable servant of  the conscious mind and which runs a lot of automatic processes in the  body.
                   
                                          
                       
In order  to discipline and control the mind, we need to get to a quiet place,  close our eyes, shut out unwanted sounds, and sit quietly. Focus on your  breathing. As you do so, see the thoughts appearing one by one. Don't  do anything to the thoughts, don't become attached to them, don't follow  them to their logical conclusion. Just observe them. You will see that  they come in large numbers, one after the other. Let them come. You  focus on your breathing.
                   
                                          
                       
When you  sit silently, if you were to focus on all the sounds around you, you  will (to your surprise) realize that there are so many sounds which you  never notice normally, since your attention is not on them. Keep  listening to the sounds, and then slowly shift your attention to the  breathing. The sounds will become less. Again go back to the sounds.  When you do that, your breathing awareness will become less. If you  don't focus on both---sounds or breathing--the mind will start throwing  thoughts. If you focus on these, you will lose touch with the sounds and  with breathing.
                   
                                          
                       
What this  exercise shows us is that one needs to be extremely aware, in order to  focus the mind or control it. Mind focus is like holding a bulky torch  with oily hands. Its very slippery. You have to be very alert as you  focus this torch on the areas you want to. If you lose attention or  focus for even one minute, the torch slips out of the oily hand, and  falls into an abyss of darkness, and you are also plunged into the  darkness of the mind.
                   
                                          
                       
Do this  exercise daily twice or thrice. Slowly, you will improve your focus and  concentration and will be able to direct the mind to the sounds or  breathing at will, and will be able to keep away from the thousand  thoughts that the mind is throwing at you. Hold the torch of focus  alertly and tightly, or you will be plunged into darkness.

Leaders lead with his leadership instinct, and with leader comes  follower because without followers there can be no leader, as long as  people of libya were following Muammar Gaddafi, he was a leader, but  when everyone stood against him then, he was killed in public. It means  leadership is temporary and has to be maintained which required constant  efforts. Leaders have a unique personality with a vision which can  influence others and this ultimately give them power. Leaders are  different, as Hitler was a leader who was aggressive and a kind of red  zone character, on the other hand we have Mahatma Gandhi who was leading  a nation during independence era with the weapon of truth and peace.  Leaders uses various ethical as well as unethical influential tactics to  influence others with an aim to achieve commitment from the targeted  group of people to act in a certain way or to just support their vision.


There are various methods or tactics to influence other which are found in a research these are :

1. Rational Persuasion : A person argues on actual facts, figures and evidences to influence others. We see rational persuasion mostly in the areas of science where a  scientist on based of repeated experiments and research tries to influence  other fallow scientists and get patient of the same.

2. Inspirational Appeals : A person tries to arouse emotions and enthusiasm regarding a vision or outcome of a process. In politics we can easily see inspirational appeals, and also an  outbreak of revolution starts with an inspirational appeal by the leader.

3. Consultation : The  leader asks for the suggestion from its follower and consults on various  issue to make a certain plan. We can think of the time when aam aadmi party asked suggestion from the  people of Delhi  whether to from the government when it was getting  support from the congress.

4. Ingratiation : It is  an very interesting topic to influence as a person will first try to  bring the target person or  group in good mood before making a request. Most of you do this before borrowing money from your parents.
5. Personal appeal :  The leader use its goodwill and appeals to the target group for a favor.” Tum Mujhe Khun do Mai tumhe aazadi dunga ” Subhash Chandra Bose
6. Coalition Tactics : An agent will form a coalition to influence a target audience. You can easily see this in business world Facebook bought Wsaap and flipkart bought Myntra.
7. Pressure Tactics :  Now a days  pressure tactics are rapidly used by spiritual leaders to make wrong  things done  in the name of god . It means that pressurizing someone to  do do certain work.
8. Legitimate Tactics : Some leaders  have legitimate powers and use their authority to influence others to do  certain work.

On 14th September 2014, a 5 year old girl in Mumbai was reported with  a life threatening disease called ROHHAD (Rapid onset obesity with  hypothalamus dysfunction, hyperventilation and autonomic dysregulation).  It is a rather rare disease, with only 100 cases are known all around  the world till date and India’s first ever case of ROHHAD.
In humans breathing is controlled by the hypothalamus but ROHHAD is  an overlapping disease which causes genetic mutation in the patient,  thus damaging the proper mechanism of proper breathing. Any person  suffering from the disease cannot control his or her breathing.  Currently there is no cure of ROHHAD and the medication given to the  patients is experimental therefore making it potentially lethal and  incurable.
his is then followed by hypothalamic dysfunction, when the hypothalamus does not function properly.
At this point, the following symptoms begin to persist:

• Rapid increase in weight in a short amount of time.
• Hypothyroidism, which causes fatigue, changes in skin and hair, weight gain and intolerance of the cold.
• Insufficient production of growth hormones.
• Diabetes insipidus.
• Inappropriate anti-diuretic hormone.
• Diminished or excess thirst due to water/salt imbalance.

Hypoventilation is the next symptom during which the breathing and lung function is affected.

Autonomic dysregulation is the next set of symptoms to follow. These  symptoms cause the impairment of the autonomic nervous system and they  include:

• Altered sweating.
• Decrease in body temperature.
• Decreased sensitivity to pain.
• Decrease in heart rate.
• Severe diarrhea or constipation.

Currently this rare syndrome does not have any proper tests or treatments.

Pregnant Deer Scenario

Consider this scenario: In  a remote forest, a pregnant deer is about to give birth to a baby. It  finds a remote grass field near by a river and slowly goes there  thinking it would be safe.
As  she moves slowly, she gets labor pain. At the same moment, dark clouds  gather around that area and lightning starts a forest fire.
Turning  left she sees a hunter who is aiming an arrow from a distance. As she  tries to move towards right, she spots a hungry lion approaching towards  her.....

What can the pregnant deer do .as she is already under labor pain ?

What do you think will happen?
Will the deer survive?
Will it give birth to a fawn?
Will the fawn survive? OR
Will everything be burnt by the forest fire?
That particular moment?

Can the deer go left? Hunter’s arrow is pointing!
Can she go right? Hungry male lion approaching!
Can she move up? Forest fire!
Can she move down? Fierce River!
Answer: She does nothing. She just focuses on giving birth to a new LIFE!

The sequence of events that happens at that fraction of a second (moment) are as follows:

In  a spur of MOMENT & a lightning strikes (already it is cloudy ) and  blinds the eyes of the Hunter. At that MOMENT, he releases the arrow  missing and zipping past the deer. At that MOMENT the arrow hits and  injures the lion badly. At that MOMENT, it starts to rain heavily and  puts out the forest fire. At that next MOMENT, the deer gives birth to a  healthy fawn.

In  our life, it’s our MOMENT of CHOICE and we all have to deal with such  negative thoughts from all sides always. Some thoughts are so powerful  they overpower us and makes us clueless. Let us not decide anything in a  hurry. Let’s think of ourselves as the pregnant deer with the ultimate  happy ending.

Anything  can happen in a MOMENT in this life. If you are Religious,  Superstitious, Atheist, Agnostic or whatever you can attribute, this  MOMENT as Divine Intervention OF, Faith, Sudden Luck, Chance  (serendipity), or a Simple don’t know'.

We  all feel the same. Whatever one may call it, I would see the priority  of the deer in that given moment was to giving birth to a baby AS RIGHT,  because LIFE IS PRECIOUS!!!

Hence, whether you are Deer or a Human, keep that Faith and Hope within...

When you quit doing the wrong things, you make more room for the things that make you happy. So starting today…

Quit procrastinating on your goals.

Some people dream of success while others wake up and work hard at it. Action and change are often resisted when they’re needed most.Get a hold of yourself and have discipline. Putting something off instantly makes it harder and scarier. And there’s nothing more stressful than the perpetual lingering of an unfinished task.
The secret to getting ahead is simply getting started. Starting, all by itself, is usually sufficient to build enough momentum to keep the ball rolling. So forget about the finish line and just concentrate on taking your first step. Say to yourself, “I choose to start this task with a small, imperfect step.” All those small steps will add up and you’ll actually get to see changes fairly quickly.

Quit blaming others and making excuses.

Stop blaming others for what you have or don’t have, or for what you feel or don’t feel. &When you blame others for what you’re going through, you deny responsibility and perpetuate the problem. Stop giving your power away and start taking responsibility for your life.Blaming is just another sorry excuse, and making excuses is the first step towards failure; you and only you are responsible for your life choices and decisions.

Quit trying to avoid change.

If nothing ever changed there would be no sunrise the next morning. Most of us are comfortable where we are even though the whole universe is constantly changing around us. Learning to accept this is vital to our happiness and general success.Because only when we change, do we grow, and begin to see a world we never knew was possible.
And don’t forget, however good or bad a situation is now, it will change. That’s the one thing you can count on.So embrace it, and realize that change happens for a reason.It won’t always be easy or obvious at first, but in the end it will be worth it.

Quit trying to control the uncontrollable.

If you try to control everything, and then worry about the things you can’t control, you are setting yourself up for a lifetime of frustration and misery.
Some forces are out of your control, but you can control how you react to things. Everyone’s life has positive and negative aspects  whether you’re happy or not depends greatly on which aspects you focus on. The best thing you can do is to let go of what you can’t control, and invest your energy in the things you can  like your attitude.

Quit talking down to yourself.

Nothing will bring you down quicker than berating yourself. The mind is a superb instrument if used right, but when used incorrectly, it becomes very destructive. Be aware of your mental self-talk. We all talk silently to ourselves in our heads, but we aren’t always conscious of what we’re saying or how it’s affecting us.
As Henry Ford once stated, “Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t, you’re right.” One of the major causes of why we fail is due to self-doubt and negative self-talk.The way to overcome negative thoughts and destructive emotions is to develop opposing, positive emotions that are stronger and more powerful. Listen to your self-talk and replace negative thoughts with positive ones, over time you will change the trajectory of your life.

Quit criticizing others.

The negativity you bleed out toward others will gradually cripple your own happiness. When you truly feel comfortable with your own imperfections, you won’t feel threatened or offended by the imperfections you see in other people.
So stop worrying about the flaws you see in everyone else, and focus on yourself. Let the constant growth and improvement in your own life keep you so busy that you have no time left to criticize others.

Quit running from your problems and fears.

Trust me, if everyone threw their problems in a pile for you to see, you would grab yours back. Tackle your problems and fears swiftly, don’t run away from them. The best solution is to face them head on no matter how powerful they may seem.
Fears, in particularly, stop you from taking chances and making decisions. They keep you confined to just the small space where you feel completely comfortable.But your life’s story is simply the culmination of many small, unique experiences, many of which require you to stretch your comfort zone. Letting your fears and worries control you is not ‘living,’ it’s merely existing
Bottom line: Either you own your problems and fears, or they will ultimately own you.

Quit living in another time and place.

Some people spend their entire lives trying to live in another time and place. They lament about what has been, what they could have done, or what might become. However, the past is gone, and the future doesn’t exist. No matter how much time we spend thinking and lamenting about either, it doesn’t change anything.
One of life’s sharpest paradoxes is that our brightest future hinges on our ability to pay attention to what we’re doing right now, today.
We need to live more in the moment. Living in the moment requires active, open, intentional awareness on the present. Don’t fantasize about being on vacation while at work, and don’t worry about the work piling up on your desk when you’re on vacation. Live for now. Notice the beauty unfolding around you.

Quit trying to be someone you’re not.

One of the greatest challenges in life is being yourself in a world that’s trying to make you like everyone else. Someone will always be prettier, someone will always be smarter, someone will always be younger, but they will never be you. Don’t change so people will like you. Be yourself and the right people will love you, and you’ll love yourself more too.

Quit being ungrateful.

We think that God is like us only; he will be flattered by our praise and angered by our criticism. We constantly try to appraise him so that we can get what we want. Especially when we are feeling negative or sad then we always blame God like “Why did you do this to me? Why Me? ” We forget at times that this is not the barter. God will be there with you always. Even I use to do the same. In my childhood, I used to think about God only when my exams were approaching or when my result is expected like “Please God I want to score good marks in Mathematics. Please help me.” I used to pray when I need too. One day my grandmother died when I was in college. I have never seen anyone too close leaving me forever. I cried a lot and was confused how to react in that situation. Same night I heard one voice saying “Your Dadi (grandmother) is with us. Don’t worry she is happy.” When I woke up I was feeling relaxed. I don’t know what that was- God’s voice or my dream. Later, I made sure to take out 2 minutes for praying. One might think this is a fake story but this truly happened to me. I believe nothing stays forever in your life except GOD. Some people think he doesn’t exist but he is always there with us. Don’t forget every single human being has ones part of sufferings in life... this is how God Almighty ordained the journey of life to be!
